2014 Narkoojee Cabernet Merlot

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant are intermixed with some stewed fruit characters followed by black olives, toasty cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with a generous mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrants, stewed plums and mulberries over some black olives, toasty cedar and spice. Slightly dryish but otherwise fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, stewed fruits, black olives and spicy toasted cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
