2014 Monte Tondo San Pietro Valpolicella Superiore

Produced from a blend of 55% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 15% Molinara grapes. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries and a hint of dried cherries are followed by earth, leather and dried herb nuances. Light to medium weight with a soft fruity profile the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries with subtle raspberry and dried cherry infusions over faint earth and dried herb nuances. Bright finish with finely grained soft tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, raspberry, dried cherries and earthy dried herb infusions.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
