2014 Mitchell Watervale Riesling

One of the more intensely flavoured Rieslings from the 2014 vintage.

Sourced from 50 year old dry grown vines planted in 1962. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Distinct lemon and lime scents are followed by some green apple and talc. Concentrated lemon and lime flavours dominate the palate over a background of light green apple and talc with a spicy dry finish. Good crisp acidity with a long aftertaste of lemon, lime, talc and spice.
