Aged in seasoned French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose displays Ribena like aromas along with those of black cherries, toasty vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with Ribena and dark cherry like flavours overlaying vanillin cedar and spice. Dry finish with slightly grippy tannins. Modest aftertaste of Ribena, dark cherry like flavours and spicy vanillin cedar.
