2014 Lloyd Brothers Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced liquorice and blackberry fruit aromas overlay vanillin oak, some earth and spice. Rich lavishly textured flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum flood the mouth underscored by vanillin oak, traces of earth and spice. There’s a sturdy feel to the tannins which impart some grip and chewiness to the otherwise opulent mouthfeel. Excellent concentration with a long ripe blackberry, liquorice, spicy dark plum, vanillin oak and light earth aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
