2014 Kurtz Boundary Row Shiraz

Outstanding colour displaying an inky black dark purple core with a deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays plummy Ribena like notes alongside some liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice. Rich, chewy and opulent the palate shows better balance with mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberry over a spicy vanillin cedar background. The tannins are fine grained but quite firm at the same time giving the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Long ripe dark plum, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
