2014 Konrad Pinot Noir

Aged in old and new French oak barriques. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries, dark plums and anise sit over toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium bodied the palate is filled with ripe black cherries and anise which are starting to dry out on the finish. Underscoring the fruit is toasty vanillin oak and spicy dried herbs. Relatively supple mouthfeel with slightly dryish fine grained tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of black cherries, dried cherries, anise, dried herbs and spicy vanillin oak.
Cellar 2-3 years.
