2014 Kalleske Moppa Shiraz

Certified Organic. Totally opaque inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Tightly coiled aromas of liquorice, blackpepper and blackberries slowly unravel from the glass followed by smoky dried meat characters. Medium to full bodied and rich yet at the same time restrained, the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and black cherries over some smoky vanillin cedar with a peppery finish. Meaty texture with firmly built tannins providing some chewiness and grip. Long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, smoky dried meats and blackpepper. A Moppa with plenty of richness, structure and a meaty restrained mouthfeel.
