2014 Jim Barry The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant laced with hints of mint emerge from the glass followed by some mulberry, spicy cedar notes and a faint whiff of tobacco. Medium bodied with good mid palate richness and a stern structural feel the palate has flavours of red and black currant fruit, and mulberries infused with hints of mint over some earthy cedar with a dry spicy finish. Finely grained tannins have a sturdiness that provides a good framework. Aftertaste of spicy red and black currant, mulberry, some bay leaf and earthy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
