Impenetrable inky black core with a black crimson red hue. Lifted top note aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberries meld into some plum, smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and lusciously textured the full bodied palate is awash with succulent blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours with underlying vanillin oak and spice. Perfectly integrated velvet smooth tannins with a long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, dark plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
