A blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre, Carigna and Cinsault. Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the outskirts and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark raspberry, plum, liquorice and spice overlay vanillin cedar and hints of earth. Medium weight with a supple entry the palate possesses fleshy flavours of spicy dark raspberries and plum with traces of liquorice also apparent over a back drop of spicy vanillin cedar and hints of scorched earth. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, plum, liquorice and earthy vanillin cedar.

Other Reviews….
Grenache, shiraz, mourvedre, carignan and cinsaut. This is flush with gloriously juicy red, blue and purple fruits, the components picked with unerring accuracy. While there is prodigious flavour, there's no overripe fruit. It weaves some of the magic of the Rhone Valley's iconic Chateau Rayas, the ultimate compliment. Drink by 2024.
