2014 Hewitson Baby Bush Mourvedre

Deep dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Lifted dark plum and liquorice scents are intermixed with some subtle incense like aromas followed by lightly scorched earth and spice end notes. Medium weight the palate is generously endowed with fruity dark plum, dark cherry and liquorice flavours which overlay spicy vanillin cedar and inky earth. Dryish finish with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar and faint spicy inky earth.
