2014 Heathcote Winery Cravens Place Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with a bright purple hue. The nose offers up a youthfully scented profile of inky freshly crushed blackberries and dark cherries alongside some liquorice and vanillin oak. Medium to full bodied the palate’s initial richness is tempered by a inky mouthfeel towards the finish. Fresh joosy flavours of liquorice, freshly crushed ripe blackberries and plums over a background of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Dryish, slightly grippy tannins. Aftertaste of inky freshly crushed blackberries, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
