2014 Head Red Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Pronounced liquorice and dark plum scents are overlaid by smoky dried meat characters, a hint of fennel and peppery end notes. Medium to full bodied succulent red and black fruit flavours of liquorice, dark plum and blackberries generously endow themselves across the palate with underlying smoky dried meat and pepper infusions following on. Plush fleshy mouthfeel with velvety tannins and a long pepper infused aftertaste of liquorice, dark plums, blackberries and smoked meats.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
