2014 Gibson Wilfreda Mataro Shiraz Grenache

Opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Pronounced aromatics with ripe black cherry and dark plum scents leading the charge over some liquorice, vanillin notes and spicy earth. Medium weight with ripe succulent flavours of dark plum, dark cherry and subtle liquorice followed by some vanillin oak and spicy earth. Plush mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, subtle vanillin oak and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
