2014 Garagiste Le Stagiaire Pinot Noir

A delicious savoury Pinot

Shows good depth with a dark red black tinged core and a deep dark crimson red hue. A very fragrant and alluring sniff for such a young Pinot the nose displays aromas of violets, ripe dark cherries, a touch of anise and ripe strawberries followed by spicy clove end notes. Light to medium weight the palate has a delicious flavour profile of ripe dark cherries and strawberries over some meatiness, spicy cedar and light clove. Excellent length with a very fine grained perfectly balanced tannin structure. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, ripe strawberries, cedar, dried meats and subtle spicy clove.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
