Seductive and poised, this a Superb Central Otago Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson purple hue. Perfumed scents of violets are interlaced with ripe dark cherries, dark plums and a touch of anise. Underneath this are meaty characters, lightly toasted cedar and spice. Light to medium bodied the palate possesses outstanding power and depth with rich mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and anise nuances flooding the mouth. These are followed by subtlety toasted cedar, meaty characters and spice. Beautiful supple mouthfeel and velvet like tannins. Very long and persistent aftertaste of dark plum, ripe dark cherries, anise, a toasty meatiness and spice.
