2014 Eperosa Synthesis Mataro Grenache Shiraz

A blend of 50% Mataro, 35% Grenache and 15% Shiraz. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Ripe dark cherry aromas are muffled by some earthiness and old musty cedar followed by liquorice and spicy dried herbs. The palate shows much more vitality than the nose featuring generous ripe dark cherry, liquorice and plum flavours with an underlying earthiness and spicy dried herbs also present. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins. Spicy aftertaste of dark cherries, plum, liquorice, earth and subtle dried herb infusions.
