2014 Eldredge Blue Chip Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in new American oak. Totally opaque midnight black core with a deep dark purple black hue. The nose exhibits aromas of liquorice, dark plum and blackberry with a choc mint overlay followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and opulently textured the medium to full palate is bursting with liquorice, ripe blackberry, dark plum and choc mint flavours over a backdrop of spicy vanillin cedar. Velvety tannins. Very good depth with a long aftertaste of choc mint, liquorice, dark plum and spicy vanillin cedar.
