2014 Coldstream Hills Chardonnay

Fermented and matured on lees for 9 months in seasoned and new French oak. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe white peaches and dried honey are followed by some cashew, light nougat and spice. Medium weighted with excellent richness and a creamy mouthfeel the palate features generous flavours of ripe white peaches intermixed with dried honey over a background of cashew, nougat and light spice. Clean dry finish with a long aftertaste of ripe white peach, dried honey, nougat and spicy cashew.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
