2014 Cofield Rutherglen Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple black tinged hue. Elevated ripe dark plum and liquorice aromas combine with blackberry liqueur over spicy vanillin oak. Soft and juicy the palate is filled with ripe dark plum, liquorice and infusions of fennel over some vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with relatively soft acidity and a plump texture. Medium to long aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, fennel infusions, smoky vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
