A blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, the Wine Advocate’s Neal Martin rated this wine as one of his top Cru Bourgeois of the vintage.

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruit tinged with a hint of liquorice followed by faintly toasted cedar, earth and spice. Medium bodied and elegant the palate possesses generous ripe blackcurrant and mulberry flavours over toasty cedar, earth and spice nuances. Dryish finish with a sturdy tannin structure providing some grip. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, toasty cedar, earth and spice. A top example of entry level Bordeaux that delivers fantastic value.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 13%

Other Reviews….
The 2014 Noaillac has a well defined cedar and mint-infused bouquet that opens up with quite lively and energetic black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine and supple tannin, very well judged acidity, natural and refined with a very pure finish that does not shortchange you in terms of fruit. I have encountered some very good wines from this Médoc -- the 2014 is definitely one of them. Tasted September 2016. Drink 2016-2026.
