2014 Cape Jaffa Epic Drop Shiraz

Superb colour displaying a saturated inky black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Lifted aniseed and ripe blackberry aromas dominate the nose over some black cherries, toasty vanillin oak and peppered meat end notes. Full bodied with plushly textured liquorice and ripe blackberry flavours engulfing the palate and showing tremendous richness. Ripe black cherry, vanillin oak and pepper nuances follow on. The finely grained yet robust tannins largely concealed by the wealth of opulent fruit. Long luscious aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, toasty vanillin oak and pepper.
