Matured for 12 months in French oak hogsheads. Opaque black crimson colour with a crimson purple hue. The nose reveals aromas of ripe Morello cherry and liquorice over some cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate is filled with ripe Morello cherry flavours which dominate over a tad of liquorice, earth and spicy cedar. Dry chewy finish with solidly built firm tannins. Aftertaste of ripe Morello cherry, earth and spicy cedar.
