2014 Bremerton Selkirk Shiraz

Matured for up to 18 months in selected new and older fine grain American oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Lifted liquorice, blackberry and dried meat scents overlay toasty vanillin oak with blackpepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate boasts a rich juicy flavour profile of ripe blackberries and liquorice subtlety infused with spearmint over some toasty vanillin cedar finishing spicy. Velvet smooth tannins with a supple opulent mouthfeel. Long conclusion of spicy ripe blackberries, liquorice, subtle mint, lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
