2014 Bleasdale The Powder Monkey Shiraz

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The powerfully scented nose features ripe dark plum, liquorice and choc mint aromas over toasty vanillin oak, traces of earth and spice. Rich and velvety with a satin like textural feel the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of dark plums, liquorice and dark chocolate subtlety infused with spearmint over a back drop of toasty vanillin oak and spicy dried clove. Silky smooth tannins are seamlessly interwoven into the lavish fruit. Excellent intensity and length with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, subtle choc mint, toasty vanillin oak and dried clove aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
