$299.88 Dozen
Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2022-2023)
ABV: 14%
Closure: Stelvin

A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Malbec, 9% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Totally opaque black as night dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and red berry aromas intermingle with some liquorice followed by lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a fleshy mouthfeel the palate is generously endowed with ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice flavours over a back drop of vanillin cedar, earth and spice. The Cabernet base brings an inherent sturdiness to the velvet like tannins. Good depth with a medium to long blackcurrant, liquorice, subtle dark plum and spicy vanillin cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 14%

Other Reviews…
61% cabernet sauvignon, 18% malbec, 9% merlot, 8% petit verdot, 4% cabernet franc, gold medal National Wine Show '15. Almost nonchalantly floods the mouth with blackcurrant and plum, the texture mesmeric, focusing on the fruit, yet providing the edge of tannin that is an integral part of the quality of the wine. Drink by 2034.
