Aged in French oak for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Rich blackberry and liquorice flavours fill the palate within a meaty mouthfeel followed by lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spicy blackpepper. Slightly chewy tannins with a long spicy blackberry, liquorice, dried meats, vanillin cedar and blackpepper aftertaste.

Other Reviews….
Matured for 12 months in French oak, it has a scented allspice and cherry ripe bouquet, moving smartly to blackcurrant, blackberry and licorice on the medium to full-bodied palate; it's fruit-driven, but there's still room for a wave from the oak, and a salute from the tannins. Drink by 2029.
