2013 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Riesling

Brilliant very pale straw water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with distinct lemon and lime top notes followed by some orange rind, talc and mineral. The palate is a little more austere than anticipated given the vibrancy of the nose with flavours of lemon and lime over a steely mineral infused backbone. Clean dry crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of lemon, lime and steely mineral.
