2013 Woodlands Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. On the nose delicate nectarine top notes are followed by some citrus, light green apple like characters, faint cashew and some mineral end notes. The palate is quite lively with a light to medium bodied mouthfeel and flavours of white peach, some biscuity oak, light toast and cashew on the back palate. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of delicate white peach, biscuit and spicy cashew.
Cellar 4-5 years.
