2013 Wirra Wirra Catapult Shiraz

Totally opaque dark purple black colour with a deep bright dark purple hue. Nosing reveals freshly crushed berry aromas of inky blackberries and liquorice over some toasty vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has an inky youthfulness about it with flavours of dark cherries, blackberries, pen ink, subtle liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar. Dryish finish with fine grained, slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of inky blackberries, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
