Slightly deeper in colour than the Yarra Valley Pinot displaying a dark purple red core with black tinged edges and a dark crimson purple hue. The nose exhibits ripe dark cherry and dark plum aromas followed by subtle anise, meatiness and spice. The palate is richer and fuller and possesses more power featuring generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark plums over subtle anise, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with a long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plums, light anise, some meatiness and spicy cedar.
