2013 Warrabilla Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Maturation took place in American oak puncheons. Opaque black dark crimson colour with deep very dark crimson red hue. The nose opens with very ripe blackcurrant and chocolate bullet like top notes followed by some vanillin cedar, black olive and spice scents. Full bodied the palate is packed with rich fully ripened blackcurrant and black cherry flavours followed by some liquorice, cedary vanillin like characteristicss and spice. Sturdy tannins provide a superb framework for the thick fruit and are in complete balance. Long ripe blackcurrant, black cherry, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar aftertaste. Try this with ox tail over winter. Alc 15.5%
