2013 Warrabilla Limited Release Parola's Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a combination of French and American oak puncheons. Super saturated inky black dark purple colour with black purple hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice over some toasty vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied with phenomenal richness and concentration the palate is over flowing with ripe blackcurrant cassis like flavours intermixed with dark chocolate and vanillin mocha followed by some toasty oak and spice on the back palate. Solid but velvet-textured tannins. Superb power with long ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice aftertaste. An amazing effort - no doubt this will be too much for some. Alc 15.5%.
