The 2013 Factor is predominately sourced from the Gomersal and Kalimna sub regions of the Barossa with maturation taking place in a combination of new (40%) and seasoned second fill French oak.

Lavishly textured and hedonistically rich, this is thrilling example of Barossa Shiraz

Spectacular colour saturation displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep black dark purple hue. Hedonistic scents of ripe black cherries, liquorice, blackberry liqueur and dark plum soar from the glass with underlying notes of dark chocolate, spicy vanillin oak and faint pepper ensuing. Lavishly textured and decadently rich the palate delivers extraordinary power with liqueur like concentration, overflowing with sumptuous flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries, dark chocolate and dark plum that are married to mocha and vanillin oak infusions alongside some spicy pepper. The ripe chewy tannins barely noticeable beneath the huge core of fruit. Exceptionally long finish of ripe blackberries, dark plum, liquorice, vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spice.
Drink over the next 8-10 years.
Alc 15.5%
