2013 Torbreck Les Amis Grenache

A hedonistic Grenache packed with ripe succulent fruit.

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Intoxicating aromas of ripe black raspberries, black cherries, liquorice and dark plums cascade out of the glass followed by some subtle dark chocolate, scorched earth and spice. Decadently rich flavours of luscious black raspberries, dark plum and liquorice swamp every corner of the palate with ensuing dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Bold and voluptuously textured with a supple mouthfeel and satin like tannins. A Grenache of outstanding power and concentration finishing with a very long aftertaste of ripe black raspberries, dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak.
