2013 The Yard Acacia Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson red colour with a crimson red purple hue. The nose yields aromas of black cherries and liquorice interlaced with smoky dried meats and subtle vanillin cedar with black pepper end notes. Medium bodied with a soft elegant mouthfeel, yet remaining quite structured, the palate features flavours of black cherries, liquorice and smoky dried meats followed by some earthy cedar like qualities and blackpepper. Slightly dryish but very fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackpepper infused black cherries, smoky dried meats and earth.
