2013 The Gillooly of Tallarook Shiraz

Includes 6% Voignier. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black hue. The nose offers up aromas of liquorice and black cherries which intermix with earthy vanillin cedar, dried meats and a hint of pepper. A firm tannin structure gives the palate a robust mouthfeel. Flavours of liquorice, blackberries and black cherries run into some earth, dried meats and subtle pepper nuances. Dry chewy finish with an aftertaste of liquorice, black cherries, earth, dried meats and pepper.
