2013 Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva Tenuta Tignanello

Opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherries and blackcurrant laced with subtle dried herbs and cedar are followed by old leather, some earth and spice. Elegantly built with light to medium weight and good richness the palate features a savoury flavour profile of spicy dark cherries, blackcurrant, dried herbs, earthy cedar and a touch of spicy leather. Dryish finish with good bright acidity and finely grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, earthy cedar, subtle dried herbs and spicy leather.
