2013 Tedeschi Valpolicella Superiore

Opaque very dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark and dried cherries laced with earth are followed by dried herbs and spicy cedar. Medium weight with a soft mouthfeel but good vibrancy on the finish the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries intermixed with dried cherries, earth and spicy dried herbs. Finely grained tannins with an aftertaste of fresh ripe dark cherries, subtle dried cherries, earthy cedar and spicy herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
