2013 Swings & Roundabouts Backyard Stories Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with some greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays good intensity with white peach top notes followed by some citrus, nougat and light cinnamon spice end notes. Medium bodied the palate is dominated by fresh ripe peach flavours alongside some ripe pears and citrus with some cashew, light nougat and spice following. Clean dry finish with a sense of creaminess about the mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of fresh white peach, subtle cashew, nougat and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
