2013 Solar Viejo Crianza

This Tempranillo has been aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of black cherries and a hint of liquorice are overlaid by scorched earth followed by dried meats and spice. Light to medium weight the softly textured palate has flavours of dark cherries, subtle infusions of incense, earthy dried meats and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, incense infusions, earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
