2013 Sidewood Shiraz

Matured for 15 months in French oak barriques. Totally opaque black purple colour with a deep purple red hue. Scented aromas of blackberry, dark plum and liquorice are followed by some lightly toasted oak and spice. Medium weighted with good richness and savouriness the palate features flavours of blackberries, liquorice and dark cherries over vanillin cedar, a touch of dried meats and spice. Supple elegant mouthfeel with velvety tannins and an aftertaste of blackberries, dark cherries, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
