2013 Scotchmans Hill Swan Bay Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with aromas of ripe dark cherries and dark plums intermixed with some anise followed by toasty oak and spice. Ripe and generously flavoured the palate features rich dark cherries and dark plums alongside some anise infusions with spicy toasty oak following. Supple round mouthfeel with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plums and spicy toasty anise. A medium weight Pinot with good fleshy richness.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
