2013 Pertaringa Over The Top Shiraz

Magnificent midnight black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays lifted liquorice top notes followed by black cherries, blackberries, smoky vanillin cedar, subtle meatiness and blackpepper. Full bodied the palate is bursting with rich opulent fruit flavours that includes liquorice, black cherries and blackberries over a background of lightly smoked vanillin cedar and light pepper. Very fine grained powdery tannins. Excellent length with a long liquorice, black cherry, smoky cedar, dried meats and pepper aftertaste.
