Totally opaque inky black red colour with a very deep black crimson red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of ripe black cherries and liquorice over some vanillin cedar, a touch of earth and spice. Bold ripe blackcurrant, black cherry and liquorice flavours dominate the palate with following earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Excellent weight and richness ably supported by a sturdily built tannin structure. Long ripe blackcurrant, black cherry, liquorice and spicy earthy vanillin cedar aftertaste.
