2013 Pedestal Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

A blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant water like to very pale straw colour with a light greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays citrusy top notes alongside some crunchy green apple followed by light herbaceous grassy characters and mineral. Light across the palate with vibrant acidity and a dry finish. Flavours of citrus, grassy herbaceous characters, light asparagus and spicy dried herbs are present. Clean crisp dry finish with an aftertaste of spicy herbaceous grassy characters, asparagus and citrus.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
