2013 Paxton Quandong Farm Shiraz

Excellent colour displaying an opaque black dark purple core and a deep very dark purple hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum are overlaid by blackpepper with subtle meaty end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses flavours of black cherries, liquorice and dark plum followed by some vanillin cedar and pepper with a firm tightly structured finish. Firm, slightly chewy tannins and fresh acidity with an aftertaste of black cherries, plum, liquorice, spicy vanillin cedar and blackpepper.
