2013 Ninth Island Chardonnay

An unwooded Chardonnay. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays pear and melon scents followed by a faint whiff of dried honey and spice. Relatively light in weight the palate has flavours of pear, melon and spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of pear, melon and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
