2013 Nanny Goat Vineyard Pinot Noir

Excellent depth of colour displaying a deep dark red purple core with a dark purple red hue. The nose displays delicate violet top notes followed by powerful scents of dark ripe plums, dark cherries and anise which prevail over some spicy toasty cedar. Medium bodied the palate is awash with rich ripe fruit flavours of dark ripe plums and dark cherries with underlying anise, toasty cedar and spice. Velvety tannins. Excellent power wave with a medium to long dark plum, ripe dark cherry, subtle anise and spicy lightly toasted cedar aftertaste.
